Speaking of FaceBook... lol I love all the recipes that are passed around, however. If I were to try and make one of them it would be impossible at this time as I do not have probably any of the ingredients, unless it calls for chicken or ground beef! When you live where I live, in the city of MAKEDO and have about $5 in your checkbook, shopping isn't an option. I also believe that this has been bothering my subconscious. Last night I dreamt of making tuna noodle casserole... hahaha. I woke this morning thinking about it and remembering that I do have tuna and some frozen peas and a can of cream of celery soup... but that's about it other than some very old celery, onion and fresh herbs growing.
So, I substituted brown rice for the noodles and since I had no milk or anything I poured some Hidden Valley salad dressing in with the soup, chopped up some of the onion, all the celery I could salvage as it was old, and some chopped parsley, celantro and basil. Now I have this huge bowl of stuff filled with the rice tuna and all of the above, added some salt and pepper for luck and put half of it in a covered container to freeze for later. Of course if the one I'm baking for tonight doesnt work I'll have to doctor up the other one somehow! lol
Actually, not having any money is not a hardship it's an adventure...
